
Sime Motors commemorated 45 years of operations in Malaysia with an elegant anniversary gala at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra on 16 October 2025, bringing together key stakeholders from across the automotive industry.
The event, themed “Orchestrating Excellence: Celebrating 45 Years of Sime Motors in Malaysia,” featured performances by internationally renowned conductor Gerald Salonga, pianist Liu Muyu, and Malaysian vocalist Aina Abdul. The evening of world-class music served as a tribute to the company’s longstanding presence in Malaysia’s automotive sector.
In a ceremony recognising the company’s key partnerships, Managing Director Andrew Basham and Jeffrey Gan, Managing Director of Southeast Asia for Sime Motors, presented tokens of appreciation to representatives from BMW Group Malaysia, BYD, DENZA, Ford Malaysia, Hyundai Malaysia, Jaguar Land Rover, Porsche Malaysia, and Volvo Cars Malaysia.

The gala drew an audience comprising Sime Motors’ customers, corporate clients, business partners, brand principal representatives, employees, media representatives, and industry colleagues.
