Electric vehicle brand iCAUR Malaysia has opened its flagship dealership in Damansara, marking the largest showroom in its expanding network as the marque strengthens its presence in the Malaysian EV market.

The 40,000-square-foot iCAUR Damansara facility, owned and operated by Carramax Luxe Sdn. Bhd., was officially launched on 13 October 2025. The dealership features the brand’s most comprehensive service capabilities to date, including a full body and paint workshop—a first for the network.

The flagship outlet combines retail and after-sales services under one roof. The showroom can display up to eight vehicles and includes a dedicated delivery bay and five EV charging bays reserved exclusively for customers.

Customer amenities include a lounge equipped with two Nintendo consoles, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee, soft drinks, and light snacks—reflecting the brand’s “Born to Play” philosophy aimed at younger buyers.

The after-sales facility features eight fully equipped service bays and a complete body and paint section with aluminium body repair equipment. Additional services include accessories installation, vehicle wrapping, and Paint Protection Film (PPF) application.

The dealership employs 33 staff members, including 12 sales consultants, 11 service technicians, and 10 body and paint specialists. The facility is designed to service up to 520 vehicles per month.

The strategic location at Lot 2814, Jalan Damansara, Kampung Sungai Penchala, provides easy access to Greater Kuala Lumpur. The showroom operates from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Saturday, and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sundays and public holidays. The service centre maintains slightly different hours, operating from 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM Monday to Saturday, and is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

iCAUR Malaysia is targeting nine full dealerships and 18 sales points by the end of 2025 as it builds out nationwide coverage for EV buyers. The brand, a collaboration between Chinese automaker Chery and SmartMi Tech, made its global debut at the 2025 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition with ambitious plans to expand to 100 countries and establish over 2,000 sales and service centres worldwide by 2028.

The expansion aligns with Malaysia’s national sustainability initiatives, including the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint (LCMB), which target 80% EV adoption by 2050.
