Samsung Malaysia recently launched the Galaxy Buds3 FE, the latest addition to its wireless earbuds lineup that aims to bring premium features to a more accessible price point. The new earbuds feature the company’s distinctive Blade design, enhanced audio capabilities, and Galaxy AI integration.
The Galaxy Buds3 FE represent Samsung’s strategy to expand its audio innovation to a broader audience while maintaining the quality standards expected from the Galaxy ecosystem. The earbuds incorporate several key improvements over their predecessor, including a larger speaker that delivers richer sound with enhanced bass and clearer treble.
Audio performance takes centre stage with the Buds3 FE, which feature improved Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology to reduce ambient noise for a more immersive listening experience. The earbuds are designed to handle various real-world scenarios, from quiet moments on crowded trains to outdoor calls in windy conditions.
Call quality has received particular attention, with the integration of Crystal Clear Call technology. This feature uses an advanced pre-trained machine learning model to isolate the user’s voice during conversations, ensuring clarity even in noisy environments. The microphone positioning has also been optimised, with microphones now facing toward the user’s mouth for improved voice pickup.

The Galaxy Buds3 FE come equipped with several AI-powered features that enhance the user experience beyond simple audio playback. Voice wake-up functionality allows users to activate voice assistants hands-free using phrases like “Hey Google,” enabling natural, conversational interactions without needing to touch a device.
For users requiring translation capabilities, the Buds3 FE integrate with the Galaxy AI Interpreter app on compatible smartphones. This allows users to listen to lectures in foreign languages or engage in conversations with people speaking different languages, with the translated audio delivered directly to the earbuds.
The earbuds feature the Galaxy lineup’s signature Blade design, characterised by a matte dual-tone finish and semi-transparent accents. Samsung describes the aesthetic as balancing simplicity with expressive detail for a modern yet playful look.
Ease of use has been prioritised in the design, with intuitive touch controls that allow users to pinch the Blade to make selections or swipe for volume adjustments. A pairing button on the charging cradle facilitates quick connections to Galaxy devices.

The Auto Switch feature enables seamless transitions between Galaxy devices by detecting audio activity and automatically transferring the connection. Users can also access quick controls directly from system settings without needing to open a dedicated app on compatible devices.
The Galaxy Buds3 FE are designed to integrate seamlessly with the broader Galaxy ecosystem, offering app-free control and quick access from any screen on compatible Samsung devices. The earbuds support devices running One UI 8.0 and later, with some features available on earlier versions through the Galaxy Wearable app.
Having used the new Galaxy Buds3 FE for around two(2) weeks now, I must say that I really enjoy the sound quality and the ability to set the level of ANC to suit the situation. Additionally, this has to be, without a doubt, the coolest-looking pair of earbuds I’ve ever used. It’s my new must-have companion for MRT/ LRT commutes around town.
The Galaxy Buds3 FE is currently available in Malaysia with a recommended retail price of RM499 and is available in Black and Gray. You can purchase it at samsung.com/my or through authorised retailers across Malaysia.
