iCAUR has opened its first dealership globally in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, marking a significant milestone for the emerging automotive brand as it prepares to launch its inaugural model in Malaysia next month.

The 18,912 square foot facility, operated by Absolute Motor Sdn Bhd, officially opened on 27 August 2025 and represents iCAUR’s entry into the competitive Malaysian electric vehicle market. The dealership features amenities typically unseen in traditional automotive retail, including a dedicated gaming arcade alongside conventional showroom and service facilities.

The facility includes a five-car showroom, customer lounge with complimentary amenities, delivery bay, and two private EV charging stations. Its service centre operates three service bays plus a specialised customisation bay, with capacity to service up to 300 vehicles monthly using a 30-person staff.

The dealership opening precedes the 9 September 2025 launch of iCAUR’s first model, the iCAUR 03, which will be priced between RM145,000 and RM155,000. Potential buyers can secure early ownership with a fully refundable RM1,000 booking fee.

The iCAUR 03 will offer two powertrain options. The base 2WD variant features a 135kW electric motor producing 184 horsepower and 220Nm of torque, paired with a 65.7kWh LFP battery providing 426km of NEDC-rated range. The higher-specification Intelligent Wheel Drive system uses dual motors generating 279 horsepower and 385Nm of torque, combined with a 69.8kWh battery offering 418km range.

iCAUR represents a joint venture between established Chinese automaker Chery and technology company SmartMi Tech. The brand made its global debut at the 2025 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition and has announced ambitious expansion plans targeting 100 countries and over 2,000 sales and service centres by 2028.

In Malaysia, iCAUR plans rapid network expansion with 18 sales points and nine full dealerships expected by mid-September. The brand’s entry supports Malaysia’s transition toward electric mobility under the National Energy Transition Roadmap and Low Carbon Mobility Blueprint, which target 80% EV adoption by 2050.

The iCAUR Glenmarie dealership, located at 12, Jalan Pendaftar U1/54, Kawasan Perindustrian Temasya, operates Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Service operations run Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
