Emirates has officially launched ‘Emirates First,’ its newly reimagined First Class check-in experience at Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport (DXB). This exclusive offering is designed for Emirates’ First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members, presenting a heightened level of service and luxury from the moment travellers enter the terminal.
As the world’s largest provider of international First Class seats, Emirates continues to “invest and uplift its customers’ experience at every touchpoint on the ground and in the air.” The new check-in area features a “meticulously upgraded, opulent and refined private seating area, offering an exclusive check-in process,” underlining the airline’s ongoing commitment to superior service for its most discerning passengers.
“We invest heavily in upgrading our ground products, and Emirates First is one of the areas that will offer a unique and private environment to our First Class customers and Skywards Platinum members. We know our customers value privacy and convenience, and this will provide another level of hospitality to the check-in experience, as part of our efforts to continuously uplift the overall travel journey.

Now, our customers can enjoy a sleek transfer with our Chauffeur Drive Service, a swift check-in at the exclusive Emirates First, explore a world-class lounge before boarding, and relax into a multi award-winning inflight experience with Emirates.”
Every aspect of the Emirates First space has been crafted for premium comfort. A grand golden entryway welcomes guests into a serene environment warm with earth tones, bronze, and gold. The area is “both visually relaxing and luxurious to the eye, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the airport.” Grand columns, a mix of wooden and marble flooring, plush armchairs, and an extravagant fresh flower arrangement channel the ambience of Emirates’ renowned First Class Lounges. In tribute to the UAE, a backlit Ghaf Tree is featured as a centerpiece, while iconic Emirates Rolex clocks display times for major world cities.
To maximise convenience, the space enables check-in procedures to be completed from the comfort of lounge seating via iPads. “Recognising the importance of time to premium customers, Emirates First offers a sleek experience where check-in formalities can be performed on iPads while guests are seated.” Families are welcome to relax as a dedicated host manages their formalities, with baggage handled at marble and brass counters and expedited directly to First Class baggage belts.
After check-in, guests move swiftly through security and immigration, then on to one of three Emirates First Class Lounges in Terminal 3. These lounges offer chef-crafted à la carte menus, fine wines, spirits, Champagne, spa treatments, business centres, children’s facilities, and concierge duty-free services. Globally, Emirates sustains its premium experience with access to 43 dedicated lounges and complimentary chauffeur-driven transfers at most destinations.
This re-opening follows a series of recent investments in Emirates’ First Class product. In May, the airline unveiled enhancements such as keepsake wine menus, engraved Robert Welch caviar bowls, and rustic cheeseboards. Additionally, “Emirates First Class cabin crew now also provide a gloved service for exceptional hospitality onboard.”
The unveiling of Emirates First solidifies the airline’s pursuit of excellence, offering “a clear demonstration of Emirates’ commitment to renovating its ground products and providing more comfort to its customers.”
