
The House of Rémy Martin commemorated its 300th anniversary with an extravagant Coupe Dinner at the Boathouse by The Lake in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event, held on 13 June 2024, was a star-studded affair attended by 160 distinguished guests and marked the grand unveiling of the much-anticipated Rémy Martin 300th Anniversary Coupe.
Tyrel Ball, Managing Director of Rémy Cointreau – South & North Asia Pacific (SNAP), and Hazel Yong, General Manager of Rémy Cointreau Malaysia, were in attendance to celebrate this historic milestone with the brand’s loyal patrons. Upon arrival, guests were immersed in a captivating cocktail reception featuring three signature 1738 concoctions – the Rémy Martin Highball, Sidecar, and Val D’or – expertly crafted by Thanesh Joel, the renowned bartender of Backdoor Bodega and local champion of Rémy Martin’s Bartender Talent Academy.
The Boathouse was transformed into a visual spectacle, showcasing the rich heritage of Rémy Martin and the intricate details behind the creation of the 300th Anniversary Coupe. The evening’s highlight was undoubtedly the exclusive tasting of this exceptional cognac, meticulously crafted by Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau. Sourced exclusively from the renowned Grande Champagne terroir, the 300th Anniversary Coupe is a testament to the House’s unwavering commitment to excellence, drawing from its precious “Réserve Perpétuelle” – a collection of exceptional eaux-de-vie carefully preserved and passed down through generations of Cellar Masters.
To complement the extraordinary cognac, a four-course culinary journey was orchestrated by Chef Yongzhi of Eat & Cook, a Michelin Selected Restaurant in 2024 and featured on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023 extended list. The menu, inspired by the themes of past, present, and future, paid homage to Rémy Martin’s legacy while looking forward to its continued evolution.
Under the illuminated dome of the Boathouse, the Rémy Cointreau team raised a toast to the House of Rémy Martin, marking the conclusion of an evening filled with celebration and anticipation for the brand’s future endeavours.

Tasting Notes
- Colour: A luminous amber patina.
- Nose: Radiance and directness with candied orange, passion fruit, sandalwood, leather, mixed spices, undergrowth, a hint of floral notes. Rancio notes have retained freshness.
- Palate: Candied fruit, passion fruit, fig, exotic fruits, nuts, discreet oaky notes, elegance and tension, a very long finish.
