Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur recently unveiled the newest chapter in the Vantage story – a car that blends power with razor-sharp handling and the perfect balance of a finely-tuned front-engine, rear-wheel drive chassis. This latest iteration is the fastest Vantage ever produced in Aston Martin’s remarkable 74-year history.

The Vantage nameplate carries a rich heritage within Aston Martin. Its journey began in 1950, when it was first used to denote a performance-enhancing engine package for the DB2. The Vantage name truly took center stage in 1964, becoming a standalone model designation for a high-performance version of the iconic DB5. This cemented the Vantage’s position as a future icon, paving the way for its debut as a dedicated model in the early 1970s. Since then, the Vantage has become an increasingly prominent member of the Aston Martin family.

The debut of the new Vantage in Malaysia offers Malaysian driving enthusiasts a taste of Aston Martin’s motorsport heritage, and coincides with a thrilling period for the 111-year-old automaker.
