
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced that its newly certified Gulfstream G700 will be making its debut at the upcoming Catarina Aviation Show in Brazil. The G700, alongside the award-winning G600 and the super-midsize G280, will all be on display for attendees from 13 to 15 June 2024 at the São Paulo Catarina International Executive Airport.

The G700 boasts the largest cabin space in business aviation and offers even better performance than initially announced. This high-flying jet boasts a maximum range of 7,750 nautical miles (14,353 kilometers) at Mach 0.85 and 6,650 nautical miles (12,316 kilometers) at Mach 0.90. With a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935, it’s the fastest aircraft in the Gulfstream fleet, capable of connecting São Paulo to Seattle at Mach 0.90.
Also on display will be the G600, known for its award-winning interior and impressive efficiency. This aircraft offers a range of 6,600 nautical miles (12,223 kilometers) at Mach 0.85 and 5,600 nautical miles (10,371 kilometers) at Mach 0.90. The G600 can connect London to São Paulo at Mach 0.90 and recently received certification for steep approach landings from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), opening up access to challenging airports.
The G280, another aircraft certified for steep approaches, boasts recent upgrades focused on enhanced comfort and safety, such as a lower cabin altitude and new exterior LED lights. This long-range jet offers a range of 3,600 nautical miles (6,667 kilometers) at Mach 0.80 and 3,000 nautical miles (5,556 kilometers) at Mach 0.84, allowing for a São Paulo to Bogotá, Colombia connection at Mach 0.84.
All three aircraft share the signature Gulfstream Cabin Experience, featuring 100% fresh air, superior noise reduction, ample natural light, and a low cabin altitude for maximum comfort. The G700 and G600 come equipped with the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck, which includes industry-first active control sidesticks, dual head-up displays, a Data Concentration Network, and the most extensive use of touchscreen technology in business aviation.
Catarina Aviation Show attendees can visit Gulfstream’s booth (I29 in hangar 03) to see the G700, G600, and G280 up close and speak with a Gulfstream representative.

Gulfstream G500 and G600 Surpass 100,000 Flight Hours

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced a significant milestone for its G500 and G600 aircraft, with both exceeding 100,000 flight hours each. This achievement underscores the strong demand for these clean-sheet designed jets and their impressive performance capabilities.
Both the G500 and G600 are powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada engines and feature the award-winning Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck. This advanced cockpit boasts industry-first active control sidesticks, the most extensive use of touchscreen technology, and Phase-of-Flight intelligence for enhanced safety. Beyond the technologically advanced cockpit, these aircraft are renowned for their industry-leading cabin comfort, featuring award-winning seating and interior design.

The G500 offers a range of 5,300 nautical miles (9,816 kilometers) at Mach 0.85 and 4,500 nautical miles (8,334 kilometers) at Mach 0.90. The G600 boasts an even greater range of 6,600 nautical miles (12,223 kilometers) at Mach 0.85 and 5,600 nautical miles (10,371 kilometers) at Mach 0.90. Both aircraft share a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925.
Adding to their impressive performance capabilities, both the G500 and G600 recently achieved FAA certification for steep approach landings. This allows operators greater flexibility and convenience by enabling access to challenging airports around the world. The G500 received this certification in early 2024, followed by the G600 in May.
With a combined fleet exceeding 260 aircraft in operation today, the G500 and G600 hold a remarkable record, together achieving over 90 city-pair speed records.
