Rolls-Royce recently unveiled the latest iteration of their iconic Phantom in Malaysia, aiming to redefine elegance and timeless luxury. This modern marvel blends commanding design with a rich heritage, solidifying Phantom’s position as the pinnacle of bespoke luxury.
“We are excited to celebrate the arrival of Phantom Series II to Malaysia. With its rich heritage and commanding design, a blank canvas for bespoke features, this pinnacle Rolls-Royce represents the epitome of timeless luxury, tailored to the discerning preferences of our distinguished clientele.”

Building on the success of the eighth-generation Phantom launched in 2017, the Series II incorporates subtle visual and aesthetic enhancements based on client feedback. Notably, the new “Rolls-Royce Connected” feature seamlessly links the Phantom with the exclusive Whispers app, elevating the ownership experience.

Rolls-Royce cars are renowned for their enduring quality and timeless design. The Phantom, revered for its elegance, has held a unique and prestigious position since its introduction in 1925. Throughout history, it has chauffeured influential figures to defining moments.
The eighth-generation Phantom, built on the bespoke “Architecture of Luxury” platform, marked a turning point. Clients, connoisseurs of extreme luxury, desired a more personalized experience. The Series II reflects this desire, incorporating only the lightest of design touches and enhancements, focusing on preserving the iconic character.
Phantom’s commanding presence remains paramount, accentuated by a new polished horizontal line above the Pantheon Grille. This line adds a touch of modern assertiveness, reflecting the car’s driver-focused nature. The grille itself has been subtly adjusted to further emphasize the “RR” Badge of Honour and Spirit of Ecstasy mascot. Laser-cut starlight bezels adorn the headlights, mirroring the Starlight Headliner and adding a touch of nighttime delight.

The classic Rolls-Royce silhouette is preserved, with its short front overhang, long wheelbase, and broad C-pillar. New wheel options enhance the side profile, including a 3D milled stainless steel wheel and a graceful disc wheel reminiscent of 1920s models. In response to client requests, a darkened chrome grille surround, black bonnet reins, and other exterior trim options are now available, offering a wider range of personalization.
The opulent interior remains largely unchanged, with the steering wheel slightly thickened for a more connected feel. Phantom and Phantom Extended cater to distinct preferences. Phantom is increasingly favoured by those who enjoy driving, while Phantom Extended offers the ultimate chauffeured experience.
The Series II introduces “Rolls-Royce Connected,” allowing owners to send destinations directly to the car from the Whispers app for seamless navigation. This app also displays the car’s location, security status, and current health condition, enabling owners to contact dealerships for service or information at the touch of a button.

Phantom attracts a successful and demanding clientele, often in the public eye. They commission some of the most ambitious and challenging Bespoke creations Rolls-Royce undertakes. These masterpieces showcase the essence of Phantom: it’s not just the “best car in the world,” but the best car for the individual and their world.
There’s no such thing as a typical Phantom client. They range from young and modern to established and traditional, self-made or inheriting wealth. Their Bespoke commissions reflect a diverse spectrum of interests and influences. Phantom can embody a subversive and youthful character or transform into an ode to timeless luxury.
The challenge for Rolls-Royce is to accommodate this vast range of desires within a single pinnacle product. The Series II is designed as a blank canvas for Bespoke personalization, allowing clients to define luxury on their own terms and express their individual style. Regardless of their preference, they can be assured that the Phantom remains the “best car in the world” in terms of technology, materials, aesthetics, and performance.
As Sir Henry Royce said, “Small things make perfection, but perfection is no small thing.” The subtle yet meticulous changes in the Phantom Series II reflect this philosophy. The starting price for the Phantom Series II is MYR 2,500,000, while the Phantom Series II Extended starts at MYR 2,900,000 (excluding tax).
