Emirates resumed passenger services to Tokyo-Haneda on 2 April 2023, restoring its full Japanese network and expanding on the airline’s continuous growth in the Southeast Asia region.
Operated by one of Emirates’ latest Boeing 777 “Game Changer” aircraft, flight EK312 departed from Dubai on 2 April at 7:50hrs, and arrived in Haneda at 22:35hrs. The return flight EK313 departed from Haneda on 3 April at 00:05hrs and arrived in Dubai at 06:20hrs (all times are local time).
“We’re very excited about the continued development of our Japanese network and are especially thankful to the local authorities and our partners for their support and for working with us on providing seamless global connectivity for Japanese travellers. We’ve been present in the market for more than 20 years and are thoroughly pleased to finally return to Tokyo-Haneda, as we look forward to supporting the increasing demand for international travel. The night flight from Haneda offers valuable connectivity for travellers to access Emirates’ points beyond Dubai, in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East regions.”
Satish Sethi, Emirates’ Country Manager in Japan
Emirates operates daily flights to Tokyo-Narita and Osaka in addition to Tokyo-Haneda. Via its codeshare agreement with Japan Airlines, the airline provides travellers with access from these destinations to 24 additional domestic Japanese cities. Moreover, seamless connectivity from Japan to more than 130 locations on 6 continents is provided via Dubai, including well-known locations like Italy, Spain, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.
Tickets can be booked on www.emirates.com, the Emirates App, or via travel agents. Travellers are also encouraged to check the latest entry requirements.
The most recent Boeing 777s operated by Emirates have ergonomically built seats in all cabin classes, as well as the most recent iteration of the airline’s acclaimed ice inflight entertainment system. Emirates’ “Game-Changing” Boeing 777 private suites include floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and ultra-modern design elements, with a focus on exceptional customer comfort and privacy. The spacious, completely enclosed private suites, each with up to 40 square feet of personal space, are organised in a 1-1-1 layout, creating a total of six suites with virtual windows that project HD images of the outside world.
