Malaysia’s Top 30 Bars Award was recently completed with an award ceremony at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, revealing the Top 30 bars chosen by a selection committee comprised of professionals and subject matter experts from the food and beverage industry.
Malaysia’s Top 30 aspires to advance the food and beverage industry by collaborating closely with key business partners to help F&B operators market their establishments. Malaysia’s Top 30 Bars Award was established to recognize the best bars in Malaysia through a series of award ceremonies.

More than 200 bars were shortlisted before entering the final 50 and going through the selection process to make the final 30 list, which was judged between July and September 2022.
Alvin added, “Upon making the top 30 list, all bars will benefit from continuity right after the award ceremony. For example, a cocktail series is created to create the Top 30 cocktails in Malaysia. Other planning in the pipeline includes Masterclass, Guest Shifts and exclusive events.”
At the awards ceremony, Yayasan Chow Kit received a donation from Malaysia’s Top 30 Bar Awards, which raised RM15,000 for charitable causes. Yayasan Chow Kit’s CEO, Ananti Raj, accepted the mock check on the company’s behalf.
Malaysia’s Top 30 Bar Awards is presented by Chivas Regal with other partners including Martell, Jameson, Heineken, Guinness, Absolut, Beefeater, The Glenlivet, Lillet, GH Mumm, Fiji Water and Umai.
