Valentine’s Day 2020 Menu at Envi Skydining, Menara TA One, Kuala Lumpur

The newest and latest multi-concept dining and entertainment establishment, Envi Skydining, opened its doors in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle in December 2019, contributing a vibrant addition to the city’s dining and entertainment scene.

The new establishment is located on the 36th floor (rooftop level) of Menara TA One which is just 400m away from the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, giving diners and patrons a spectacular view of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.

Envi Skydining occupies 18,000sqf on the rooftop of the office tower, and comprises three (3) different sections namely, the restaurant/ dining section, the open-air lounge, and the club. The modern and trendy design of the establishment, coupled with the food and beverage offerings, and view of the city makes it a truly must-visit for both city-dwellers, and tourists alike, offering a 5-star experience at an affordable price-point.

During the daytime, the restaurant/ dining section serves very affordable lunch specials, and is ideal for the busy executive, or for corporate lunches. In the evening, the restaurant is perfect for romantic dinner dates, with the stylish interior design complemented by the view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline sets the mood for love.

  

  

The restaurant serves both local and Western cuisine, with a touch of Mediterranean influence, and comfortably fits 80 to 100 pax, giving you privacy to have meaningful conversations with your loved ones, family and friends.

The restaurant section can be booked for private functions such as product launches, press conferences, corporate dinners, weddings, and even grand birthday celebrations. Depending on the layout, the restaurant section alone can seat up to 200 pax.

  

  

The open-air lounge with its garden like décor is the place to be to watch the sunset and have pre/post-dinner drinks. There are very attractive happy hour rates for drinks, while lite bites are also available for grazing while you watch the world go by below on our comfy sofas or high tables. Challenge your buddies to a game of beer pong, or try our signature cocktails. Not to be missed is the opportunity to grab a photo with the Petronas Twin Towers in all its glory.

  

  

The club section is the place to let your hair down and party on the dancefloor to the tunes of our in-house DJ as well as guest DJs who visit during special occasions. The club section can fit up to 400 pax with a combination of plush sofas and high tables. The club section has a modular design which allows it to be transformed into an event space which is suitable for product launches or press conferences.

We recently got to try the upcoming Valentine’s Day menu at Envi Skydining, which is priced at a very reasonable RM288.00++ per couple and will be available on 14 February 2020.

Assorted Spanish Style Tapas

A pretty tapas with edible flowers to start off the meal. Don’t try to be prim and proper with this one – just use your hands!

  

Choice of First Course

Fresh Seafood in a Tomato Broth with a touch of Pernod

Or

Fresh & Crispy Garden Greens Tossed with Sesame Dressing (not pictured)

If you can eat seafood, I highly recommend that you select the heartwarming and flavourful seafood broth which is just loaded with seafood! Order a glass of white (the house wine selection is pretty decent) to go with this.

  

Choice Of Main Course

Chilled Australian Ribeye

Drizzled with Garlic Rosemary Butter, and served with Homemade Reduced Port Wine

This is certainly a dish for meat eaters! Request for this to be cooked medium rare (or medium at the most) and order a glass of red wine to go along! The portion might not be huge but if you chose the seafood broth in the previous course you will be full by the time you finish this.

Airflown Fresh Atlantic Salmon

Served with Honey Dijon Mustard Cream Sauce

I was quite surprised with the Dijon mustard cream sauce as it normally goes with red meat dishes. However, it was well balanced enough to compliment the salmon’s bold flavours and add cut through the richness! Regretted not asking for extra sauce (I like good sauces except when it comes to my steaks which I prefer to eat just cooked with salt and pepper).

  

Dessert

Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream

A rich and decadent end to the meal that’s sure to set the mood for the rest of the evening.

  

 

 

The establishment is open daily for lunch from 12noon to 3.00pm on Mondays to Fridays, and daily for dinner from 6.00pm to 11.00pm. The club is open till late on weekends.
