Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur will be hosting Australian Week this October 2019 with Australian Chef Aaron Habgood, the Executive Chef at Shangri-La Hotel, The Marina, Cairns, in town to showcase his cuisine.
Chef Aaron Habgood has notably lead the team at Michelin stared in restaurant Sienna’s in the UK, appeared on popular cooking show MasterChef Australia and has even had the pleasure of cooking for royalty. He is bringing his recipes all the way from his homeland and he will be making a special appearance at Gobo Upstairs Lounge & Grill to present modern Australian fare. The Australian Week at Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur runs from 24 October to 1 November 2019, and will be presenting dishes made from the finest ingredients, bringing the taste of Australia to diners in Kuala Lumpur.
The dishes featured at Australian Week 2019 include soy dusted Tasmanian salmon with crab and corn ragout, miso glazed chargrilled carrots with smoked eggplant and walnut tapenade, surf and turf with grilled wagyu strip loin, T-bone 500g with herbed butter and fried potato salad, roasted loin of lamb shank bon with potatoes,peas and yoghurt, pavlova, chocolate pudding, baked egg custart tart and more.
