We recently headed over to Cedar on 15 at Impiana KLCC Hotel for the preview of their Grill and Chill barbeque and beer buffet which happens every Friday and Saturday evening. The barbeque buffet is priced at RM128+ per person and is available from 7.00pm – 11.00pm, whereas the beer buffet is priced at RM79+ per person and lasts from 6.00pm – 8.00pm

The buffet is a great way to chill and unwind after a long week, with a delicious spread of food, live music by the Harmony & Rhythm band, drink promotions, and a view of the Kuala Lumpur skyline from Cedar on 15 – the chic and contemporary dining establishment on level 15 of Impiana KLCC Hotel.

Grill and Chill features an array of salads and appetisers including Coleslaw and Waldorf Salad and Potatoes Salad with Eggs and Scallions with an array of dressings to match.

Start off the meal with a heartwarming Cream of Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Croutons (served on Fridays) and Seafood Chowder with Garlic Crostini before you hit the barbeque buffet which consists of a spread of freshly grilled meats from the charcoal grill pit.

The spread includes favourites such as BBQ Beef Ribs with Pineapple; Rosemary and Garlic Lamb Shoulder; a mixture of Thüringen Chicken, Beef Frankfurters and Chicken Cheese Kransky grilled sausages with Onions and Tomatoes; Herb Lemon Marinated Blue Emerald Fish, Chilli Coriander Spiced XO Prawn Skewers; Grilled Butter Garlic Blue Crab and Fish Brochettes with Onions; accompanied by a selection of well-loved sides – Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Butter Mashed Potatoes, Sauté Vegetables and Baked Beans.

End the meal with the refreshing fresh tropical fruit platter, assortment of French pastries, Opera Cake, Chocolate Mousse, Bread and Butter Pudding with Vanilla Sauce and four (4) different flavours of Baskin Robbins ice cream!

You can also opt to add on unlimited servings of beer throughout the buffet. Cedar on 15 also has a smoking area at the open-air bar.

Starting off with some ice-cold beer before we tucked into the food!

Then head over to the grill in the open air section to get your meat and seafood!

What I was most impressed with is the wide array of sauces and condiments to go along with the grilled meat/ seafood! I had a good time mixing and matching the various sauces with the different meats/ seafood. My favourite is the creamy Jalapeno sauce which provided some bite and creaminess!

Baked beans and creamy mashed potatoes to accompany your meat/ seafood

End your meal with some fresh fruits, sweet desserts and of course the Baskin Robbins ice cream!

We also celebrated Rachel’s birthday there (this special flaming dessert is not part of the buffet)
