Seafood Buffet Dinner at Feast, and Mooncakes (2019) at Yue, Sheraton Petaling Jaya

We recently headed over to Sheraton Petaling Jaya to try their new seafood dinner buffet at Feast which is currently on-going until 15 August 2019. The buffet which features a spread of seafood dishes from fresh ice bar items to traditionally prepared rich flavoured items, is exclusively available on weekdays Monday to Thursday from 6:30PM until 10:30PM, priced at only RM98nett (with a 50% discount for children age from 6 – 12 years old) which makes this a tremendously good value for money offering by the hotel.

The buffet has more than 100 items on daily rotation. Among the highlights are Marinated Octopus Salad, Jelly Fish Salad, while the seafood on ice section includes Rock Oysters, Alaskan King Crab legs, Spanner crabs, scallops, green mussels, prawns, slipper lobsters, and yabbies. Other notable seafood dishes include the Seafood Fried Rice with XO Sauce, Butter Prawn, La La in Superior Soup, and Steamed Fish with Golden Mushroom.


Feast is the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant which has a contemporary setting enhanced with interesting Asian elements.

Mooncakes (2019) at Sheraton Petaling Jaya


This year, Yue restaurant at Sheraton Petaling Jaya showcases the exclusive and glistening mooncake boxes with 4 flavours of traditionally baked mooncake packed as a set. The 4 delicious flavours are Pandan Lotus With Single Yolk, Red Bean With Melon Seed, Tiramisu Paste With Walnut and White Lotus With Single Yolk. These cakes can be purchased as an individual piece of RM26 each, and are available from 22 July until 13 September 2019.

These mooncakes can be purchased as gifts for business partners, friends and family in intricately and beautifully designed boxes with individual elements of Swan Crystal, Swan Pearl, Butterfly and Rainbow Stones. Each gift box is priced at RM168nett, and can also be used as a jewellery or watch box after the festival.




In conjunction with the mid-autumn festival, Chef Ben Lim of Yue restaurant kitchen has prepared two (2) sets of 8-course menus priced from RM1,288 per table. Yue Chinese Restaurant is a contemporary restaurant with panoramic view of Petaling Jaya. The menu at Yue features a repertoire of classic Chinese fare and innovative dishes, served a la carte and presented with intuitive grace. Individual private dining rooms are available for enhanced privacy. 

On the special seasonal menu are the Chef Ben’s Boiled Beef Ribs and Flat Noodles, Double-boiled Pear with Black Chicken, Steamed Egg Pancake with Water Chestnut and Parsley Dumpling, Baked Prawn with Truffles, Braised Garoupa, Double-boiled Soya Bean with White Fungus and more.

The restaurant is open daily from 12:00PM to 2:30PM for lunch and from 6:00PM to 10:30PM for dinner.
