We recently headed over to Altitude at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur for the exclusive high-tea and preview of RYAN ADDA’s new MIDO 2019 collection of frames. RYAN ADDA believes that “Visibility is Life”, and thus created their fashion forward yet relaxed eyewear designs that bridges the gap between young trendsetters and fashionable progressive lens wearers, and for those who want the finesse of designer eyewear but at a more accessible price-point.

The idea behind RYAN ADDA was first conceived when a group of talented young, inspired individuals from across Asia met up for the first time near Flinders Street Station in Melbourne, Australia after months of traveling, research, and discussion.

Together with Ryan and Agnes, they came up with some unique and creative ideas to embrace the ever-changing world in 2016.  RYAN ADDA has quickly grown into a successful international brand, lead by an incredible team with boutiques across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China and France.

RYAN is a change-maker with a deep passion in shifting status-quo to enhance efficacy and efficiency in things around him. This passion sparked the development of a stylish and iconic Asian-inspired brand, that provides optometry practices with a choice of stylish and beautifully balanced eyewear. Ryan is also known as the eyewear stylist in South East Asia.

ADDA. The acronym ADDA represents Agnes, Donovan, Darell, and Amanda, who are the fundamental foundation to this brand. Each member’s unique personality has been a source of inspiration for the brand, including the different collections within the range.

Each RYAN ADDA piece has its own unique story, individually designed taking inspiration from the beauty around us, with the wearer and functionality always being top of mind.
