Nicholle and I recently visited Momentz Music Restaurant & Bar in Puchong to try some of their dining offerings together with some wine from W Wine Warehouse. Momentz Music Restaurant & Bar is a multi-concept restaurant that combines decent food with a well-designed interior and live music in the evenings.
We opted to have the Millaman Condor Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 which was priced at RM130++. The wine originates from Central Valley in Chile. It was a ripe, juicy wine, filled with notes of cassis, ripe plums and fresh berries. Smooth and velvety mouth. We chose this wine as it’s a pretty versatile wine that can pair with a wide range of dishes, including beef, stews and mature cheeses.
Smoked Duck Breast – RM13.90
This dish went superbly well with the Millaman Condor Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 which lent its notes of berries and plums to balance out the earthy and gamey flavours of the smoked duck.
Grilled Iberico Pork – RM69.90
Chargrilled iberico pork with plum sauce served with Velvety mash potatoes, braised roasted vegetables topped with honey mustard.
This was another dish that paired well with the wine. The tender and flavourful pieces of the grilled Iberico pork were complemented by the fruity notes of the wine.
Soft Shell Crab Salad – RM26.90
Mesclun mix salad topped with crispy soft shell crab, ebiko, dragonfruit, cherry tomatoes and japanese cucumber. Served with sesame balsamic dressing.
Had a little too much dressing for my taste but fortunately most of it settled on the bottom. Taste wise, it was refreshing and rich salad with crispy soft shell crab on top!
Classic “Sang Har” Noodles – RM38.90
With toasted River prawn with ginger and scallions
A well executed dish with crispy noodles and a flavourful broth!
Stuffed Portobello -RM28.00
Wild portobello stuffed with robust nepolitana sauce, olives, tahini and mozarella cheese. Then tipped with sesame mayo and torched
What a beautiful mess indeed! Oodles of cheese atop two huge Portobello mushrooms. This was another filling set that came with a side salad, grilled vegetables, soup and scoop of ice cream!
Meatball Pasta – RM28.00
Robust Marinara tossed spaghetti served with a huge meatball stuffed with a suprise centre
This was one very hearty dish indeed that was part of a set that came with grilled vegetables, a side salad, soup and a scoop of ice cream! Wonderfully filling and satisfying!
MegaPork Burger
Smoked Bacon Wrapped Luncheon patty topped with roasted crispy pork and streaky bacon
Layer after layer of delicious pork! This was heaven for a pork lover like myself! Very very filling too!
Signature Claypot Warm Brownie served with Ice Cream and Coffee Liquor – RM24.90
Talk about a decadent end to a huge meal! A classic chocolate lava cake except that this was served in a hot claypot and had the inclusion of coffee liquor.
Mixed Berries Cheese Cake – RM14.90

W Wine & Liqour Warehouse offers free wine tastings for wedding and corporate event selections.
