News – December 2017 – Breitling Chronoliner B04

Breitling Chronoliner B04

Breitling’s new “flight captain’s chronograph” an exclusive new 250-piece limited-edition version featuring an 18K gold case, blue dial and ceramic bezel, as well as a Manufacture Breitling Caliber B04 equipped with a functional dual timezone system.

The new Chronoliner B04 was created to accurately measure flight times while juggling with times around the world. To power this very elegant timepiece attired in a blue and gold livery, Breitling selected its Manufacture Breitling Caliber B04, featuring revolutionary user-friendliness and being officially chronometer-certified by the COSC.

The main hours hand is adjusted to local time by simply pulling out the crown and turning it either way in one-hour increments – without losing any precision in terms of the minutes and automatically adjusting the date in either direction. Meanwhile, the red-tipped hand keeps track of home time in 24-hour mode, thereby serving to distinguish between day and night. The ultra-hard, scratch-resistant ceramic rotating bezel equipping this aviation chronograph with its timeless look displays a third timezone, also in 24-hour mode.
