Jimmy was born in the French Alps, and grew up in middle of the mountain in ‘’Annecy’’. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent most of his time with nature during his childhood. At 15 years old he enrolled in the culinary school of ‘’Thonons-les-bains’ where he trained for two years and graduated with an upper diploma in the second culinary school, ‘’CFA de groisy’’. After traveling through the Caribbean, he worked at ‘’Cheval blanc St barth isle de france’’ hotel, and America. He later joined the ‘’Alain Ducasse at LE LOUIS XV’’ in Monte-Carlo, a three Michelin starred restaurant in Monaco for two years. That was where he learnt precision and focus on the taste by using the best products. After that he moved to The Dorchester collection hotel in Geneva, ‘’Le Richemond’’ as a Sous-Chef, for two years, also learning a lot about pastry and chocolate desserts.

He joined Shangri-la Abu Dhabi as a Chef de Cuisine in 2016 and he is now a French chef focusing on traditional fine dining, inspired by middle-eastern tastes, as he continues to use vegetables and fresh products. 2017 Face Of Malaysia Model Search – The Search for the Next Celebrity Supermodel

For the past two decades, Malaysians could proudly claim that we have our own internationally recognised supermodel, with the face of GUESS Amber Chia standing as the beacon for aspiring models. Amber was the benchmark and symbol of success in the modelling industry, and undoubtedly every single female model in Malaysia has been measured against her at some point in their careers. Few models have successfully created their own brand, which is known all over the country and beyond.

When Amber organised the Ford Supermodel of the World Model Search back in 2009, her vision was to create a platform for the next generation of models to learn and gain exposure, locally and internationally. In 2010, she started Amber Chia Academy, where over 1,000 students have graduated to date.  In 2011 she envisioned a new kind of model search in conjunction with the Korea Model Association to help propel young models to the global stage, the “Asia New Face Model Search”, which seeks models that not only have the potential to be the next fashion icon, but the next celebrity star. Today, this model search is simply known as the “Face Of Malaysia”.

In 2017, the Face of Malaysia model search aims to find the next face of Malaysia that embodies not just the qualities to be a supermodel, but possesses the talent and passion to be in the entertainment spotlight as well. In today’s digital age, the contestants must also be able to kick up a storm on social media networks, as well as possessing the natural flair to be the centre of attraction at public events.

The live auditions took place on the 22 of April with over 300 registrations. The judges include Amber Chia, Raulen Lee (International Director of the Korea Model Association), Dr. Anjhula Mya Singh Bais (International Supermodel & Psychologist), CK Wai (Founder of Studio V4 Photography), Javson Lee (Creative Director of Studio V4) and Azuki (Fashion Stylist). 18 finalists (11 female & 7 male) were selected to take part in the grand finale which will be held at the Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday the 13th of May, 2017, from 7pm to 10pm. The grand finale gala dinner will encompass the elite of the fashion and beauty industry, from professionals and clients to models and celebrities.

Late Millionaire Surgeon’s Last Words on Money, Ferraris, and True Joy

This tragic story is not new however I feel that it is very poignant especially during these times when everyone places money and material wealth above everything else, sometimes to the point of sacrificing ethics, values, principles and/ or morals to attain it.

Read the article here – http://health.asiaone.com/health/health-news/late-millionaire-surgeons-last-words-money-ferraris-and-true-joy

Dr. Richard Teo Keng Siang had everything – money, expensive cars, a real cash cow of a business. But it took terminal cancer to teach him that it’s all useless and he can’t bring any of it into the afterlife.

I’m not saying be content being poor and not work hard, but don’t place money and expensive bags/ jewellery/ etc. etc. above everything else because one day, you might just find yourself crying on the floor of your walk-in closet which is full of luxury bags, realising that none of it matters when you don’t have health, or love, or joy in your life.
