To celebrate the opening of the ‘Her Time’ Exhibition, Luxury Swiss Watch Brand OMEGA hosted an exclusive Red Carpet Event at OMEGA’s Australian Flagship Boutique in Martin Place, Sydney on 9 February 2017, followed by and private dinner at glamorous Private Residence in Sydney’s exclusive Darling Point.
“Her Time” in Sydney is a showcase featuring OMEGA’s range of timepieces, timeless advertising from the past, highlighting OMEGA’s enduring commitment to ladies’ watchmaking. For over 100 years OMEGA has been committed to creating watches for women that are not only beautiful to look at, but exceptional within. To bring this legacy to life, the Swiss brand’s “Her Time” exhibition has now opened at their Martin Place Boutique in Sydney.
From early Lépine pendants to today’s most popular collections, the showcase of beautiful OMEGA watches includes the 1946 OMEGA Jewellery Wristwatch, the 1956 OMEGA Topaz Jewellery “Secret Watch” and the revolutionary Ladymatic, which is still a timepiece of incredible beauty and innovation.
The brand’s dedication to ladies’ watchmaking was there from the beginning. Between 1894 and 1935, more than 35% of OMEGA’s movement production was destined for women’s watches. This willingness to engage respectfully in a section of the market, often overlooked at the time, is not only seen in the watches themselves, but in the many examples of vintage artwork and OMEGA advertising, all of which show women in a variety of lifestyles. Whether on evenings out or engaged in sport, the images show that OMEGA has always been able to capture the true essence of women.
The exhibition was officially opened by supermodel Cindy Crawford, and OMEGA President and CEO Mr. Raynald Aeschlimann. Cindy, dressed in Versace, wore an OMEGA Ladymatic Diamond and Pearls timepiece for the special occasion.
Mr Aeschlimann warmly welcomed Cindy Crawford, saying “Cindy is our longest serving Brand Ambassador. She’s been with us for over 20 years and opened our first Australian boutique in 2007. I can’t think of anyone more fitting to open this exhibition”.

Following the exclusive preview of the ‘Her Time’ Exhibition all 100 guests, dressed in Black Tie were transported to dinner in a convoy of black OMEGA cars and arrived at glamorous Private Residence in Sydney’s exclusive Darling Point.
The outdoor lounge area on waterfront lawn of the Darling Point residence was the first stop where guests enjoyed OMEGA branded Bollinger Champagne and the picturesque sunset over the spectacular Sydney Harbour.
Dinner was served in the residences under croft which featured a sandstone cutaway feature wall and archways draped in translucent fabric. An abundance of oversized white florals with touches of gold were among the decadent table setting adorning the crystal set tables, gold cutlery and custom lace napery.

To finish, guests enjoyed a champagne tower to celebrate the occasion and roaming dessert on the residence’s waterfront lawn whilst listening to a live music performance by DJ Hannah and violinist fusion Maddy .
Among the influential media guests and clients who attended, were Lindy Klim, Jarrod Scott, former Miss Universe, Jesinta Franklin, model Cheyenne Tozzi, model Montana Cox, E! News host Ksenija Lukich, celebrity stylist Lana Wilkinson, and fashion blogger, Jasmin Howell.
OMEGA’s “Her Time” exhibition is a “must-see” for anyone interested in the evolution of ladies’ Swiss watchmaking. Visitors will discover not only remarkable beauty and innovation, but a dedication to women unlike any other watch brand. The exhibition is now open to the public until 24th March 2017.
