Hermes Hermèsistible Pop Up Store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

[Luxury Fashion]

MHB’s Stephanie Lim, Mei Sze, Andy Kho and I together with socialite Denise Ang headed over to the Hermes Hermèsistible Pop Up Store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on 26 September 2016 for an exclusive cocktail for media and VIP guests. “Hermèsistible” is a term coined by Hermes to describe the irresistible side of Hermès, which has its jewellery and accessories from the Autumn-Winter 2016 collection, currently available on their e-commerce site.

Hermèsistible is an illustrated dictionary of moods, encompassing “COMPLICLARITY”, “HYPERSTITION”, “BIJOURMANDISE” – a few more terms coined by the brand to describe their new collection.

COMPLICLARITY

n. (com-plea-cla-re-tea)

A capacity for adding complexity in the search for a well-ordered life

HYPERSTITION

n. (hi-per-sti-tion)

Being spellbound to the point of indecision

BIJOURMANDISE

n. (bee – jour-mand-ease)

Insatiable appetite for the perfect fashion jewellery

Jewellery and accessories set the tone for the sketches in this ’emotionary’. Everyday life takes on new meaning in these short stories made up of photographs, films or gifs – a modern day cartoon strip to share and relate to.

Enamel, leather, wood, the stuff of new dreams, in the form of bracelets, necklaces, and earrings, take centre-stage in a collection of short, funny, quirky and quasi-cinematographic stories.

The new collection of Hermes’ fashion accessories can be viewed at its pop-up store from 27 September 2016 to 9 October 2016, 10.00am to 9:30pm at Fashion Avenue, Level 3, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
