I went over to The Tavern at the Guinness Anchor Berhad brewery on 19 December for the Guinness “Guilty as Charged” Year-End Party which was the culmination to the GUINNESS® Christmas Bold Confessions campaign that was launched in mid-November. The campaign aimed to inspire consumers to confess to something, to own up to something they’ve done, or to open up and let people in on a secret about themselves that nobody else knows.

Consumers got the chance to record their scandalous confessions in the GUINNESS® Bold Confessions Booth, which was at major GAB outlets throughout Klang Valley in November and December. Those bold enough to step inside and confess got rewarded with vouchers for free pints of GUINNESS® and were in the running to win invites to the exclusive ‘Guilty as Charged’ Year-End party.

 

 

There was also lots of food and then it was time for the highlight of the night which was the presentation of the awards to the best Bold Confessions. There were a couple of awards in total – best male confession, best female confession, and a couple more which I can’t remember. However this video here won an award and the reason I remember it is because it was the only couple video that won an award and I feel kinda bad for the guy who got FRIENDZONED! Lol

Throughout the awards ceremony the audience was roaring with laughter as the top confessions were shown and I must say that some are pretty funny. You can view more of them on the Guinness Malaysia YouTube page and if you’re really observant you might actually see the one that I did for fun (ok ok so pretty Guinness girl Yiwen persuaded me to do it there) one night when I was out for happy hours with my friends.
