[Event]

Grace and I headed over to Bangsar Baru, Kuala Lumpur on 25 June 2014 for the BAIT Oyster Bar Launch with Beluga Vodka featuring the theme “Slurp & shoot till your heart’s content!”. With a theme like that I knew it was going to be one really interesting night indeed!
Beluga Vodka is known to go well with food pairings, as that highlights the premium class of the product. Therefore we got to try Beluga Noble vodka with some fresh and delicious oysters imported from Ireland, Holland and Tasmania and shucked on the spot at Bait’s newly launch oyster bar, and we also had the vodka with smoked salmon sponsored by Borneo Harvest, which is run by John Ross Junior.

We also got to try three (3) different types of Beluga vodka cocktails:
Beluga Martini – A mixture of Beluga Noble and Martini Extra Dry, garnished with olives and a thin slice of salmon, this cocktail was the signature Beluga Martini specially made for this event.
Beluga Collin’s – A very refreshing cocktail indeed which combines Beluga Noble, fresh lemon juice, soda water. My fav cocktail that night!
Beluga Rosso with Pomegranate – Beluga Noble shot with carbonated pomegranate juice by the side. This is a traditional serving method that is known as a dinner beverage in Russia. With the Beluga Rosso, you can really taste the purity of the Beluga Vodka taste, while the pomegranate juice acts like a little fire extinguisher!

Bait is currently having a Beluga Vodka promotion package which comes with a dozen of oysters. More info on BAIT at http://www.facebook.com/baitkl
