World WTA No.1, Ice Cold Carlsberg and A View to Kill
I’ve only ever been up to Marini’s on 57 which is located on top of KLCC Tower 3 (yes there is a Tower 3) once therefore when I got the invite for this event I was pretty excited as I would get the chance to see a world WTA no.1, drink some beer and enjoy the view!
Reached Marini’s on 57 a bit late on Monday, 25 February 2013 as I was caught in a horendous jam on the way over from Subang but fortunately I got there before Caroline Wozniacki arrived.
Now you might be wondering, why is Carlsberg associating themselves with her? Well she is Danish and Carlsberg originates from Denmark!

Caroline Wozniacki who turns 23 years old this year (she was born on 11 July 1990) is a Danish professional tennis player and a former World No. 1 on the WTA Tour. She has racked up 20 WTA singles titles as of October 2012, three in 2008, three in 2009, six in 2010, six in 2011 and two in 2012.
She is currently the no.10 in the WTA World singles ranking. At the age of 22, this gifted tennis player is well known for her two-handed backhand that is capable of turning a defense into offense, most notably would be the backhand down-the-line.
Pretty accomplished for someone so young!
Caroline Wozniacki is the daughter of a Polish couple (hence her un-Danish sounding surname) who emigrated to Denmark. As such she can actually speak Polish, Danish and English!
