Headed over to Studio Lounge at Tropicana City Mall on 23 August 2012 for the media launch of Guinness’ Arthur’s Day 2012!

What is Arthur’s Day you ask? Where have you been for the last 3 years? Under a rock? Ok ok here’s some info on it:

Arthur’s Day celebrates the remarkable legacies of the founder of GUINNESS®, Arthur Guinness, through music, and is a global event that pays tribute to his boldness; a man who dared to make bold choices in his time, a man who was ‘more’ than just ordinary.

While other brewers boiled their barley which was the norm in his time, Arthur made the bold decision to roast his, to create a brew with more flavour, more taste and more look – GUINNESS®.

Arthur’s Day 2012 was officially launched! This time the concept was different from previous years. Read on to find out more.
Of course we had lovely ice-cold pints of Guinness draught! Ahhhh!

As with previous years, the winner of the ‘arThursday Talent Search’ will be the band that gets the most votes from its fans. Fans can vote for their favourite bands by voting on-ground at arThursday Music Parties, or by visiting the GUINNESS® Youtube channel and clicking ‘Like’. The band with the most votes and ‘Likes’ will go on to be the winner and open for Creed in Indonesia!
