Ecoba’s Beerlympics 011011

Ecoba threw their 2nd Beerlympics (the first was last year which I missed) which was bigger and better than ever in collaboration with Carlsberg’s Malaysia’s Own Oktoberfest on 1 October 2011.

The event promised to “top the list in outdoor entertainment, promotions and fantastic nightlife scenes, with its own concoction of innovative, quirky and fun ideas to satisfy KL’s widest range of demanding partygoers.”

The ECOBA Beerlympics carnival featured the Champion of Champions Centurion Challenge whereby every 10^th shot was a mystery shot handpicked by the emcee from a bowl to determine what should the participants consume (be it 100 plus, Ribena, Whisky, Vodka or Beer).

With food stalls and amazing attractions like the mechanical bull, dunk machine and an Oktoberfest bazaar – featuring 33 stalls that roped in a vibrant crowd. Notbook notuk, iheartbadges, DoggelGanger swapmeet, Lahlahland + chalk, Beeyinalicious and Bisou Bonbon are just some of the really lovable stuff that adds to the Oktoberfest ambience. Coupled with games like Around the World, Beer Run, 4×1 Relay and Pint Relay, and performances by Acoustic Fourplay, Nyl, Lish & Blastique, renowned saxophonist, Azmi Hairuddin and an open mic by Doppelganger. Not to forget the multiple fashion stalls by ThreadZoo, and authentic Bavarian live band as well as beautiful beer girls and hostesses, the event was a giant mix of fun, beer, fashion, music, and girls!
