Kuala Lumpur, 23 July 2011 – Kuala Lumpur exploded with the euphoric movement of FREEDOM Voice Your Choice (VYC) with over 900 FREEDOM fans congregated for an extraordinary night unlike any other – EIGHT DJs, TWO rooms, ONE massive event.

Utilizing the Black & White Box at MAP @ Publika, FREEDOM got fans’ hearts’ pumping and bodies grooving to stomping dance music featuring Hip Hop, Trance, House, Electro, Progressive and mash-up beats all in one night, one venue.

Headlined by up and coming Trance/House superstar duo Tritonal (US) with some of the rising stars in the DJ arena, it was an exceptional display of sound, sight and experience which left FREEDOM fans clamouring for more. Performing alongside Tritonal at Black Box was Mischa Daniels (NE) working his magic on the decks, while home-grown star, DJ FONO and fan-voted Terence C drove fans into a crazy frenzy! In the next room at White Box a stellar line-up of DJs performed, including Gianni Marino (NE), Artistic Raw (NE), LapSap (MY) and FREEDOM fans’ favourite, Mr Nasty who tore the room apart with their electrifying tunes and pulsating beats.

FREEDOM fans were swept off their feet with 2 other ripping performances that heated up Pure Bar, Melaka on July 15 and XeX, The Zon at JB on 16 July. Bringing double the fun to Melaka with two rooms featuring world class acts both international and local were DJ Ikon (US), A-Rox (MY), Blink (MY) and fan-voted Imma*Bleep*Youup!!! (MY). Keeping the beat going, FREEDOM then headed south to JB the next night with fan-voted DJ Reeve heating up the dance floor with funky hip hop, RnB and club classics. Playing similar genre of music, Taiwanese DJ Ray Ray took the audience to exhilarating new highs, conquering the dance floor at XeX with some of the most infectious tunes ever heard.

For the first time ever, FREEDOM let fans voice their choices and boy, were they heard loud and clear. From choosing their favourite local DJs to deciding what they want to experience, whether to have cover charges or to dress like a star, FREEDOM fans made every vote count and their reward was the event experience they chose. The moment FREEDOM fans stepped into the venues, the animated Something Fun was ready to amuse them; a large LED curtain showcasing FREEDOM members’ creative artwork greeted partygoers at all FREEDOM VYC events. From partying with the DJs of their choice to defining their experiences, FREEDOM has brought a whole new concept of Voice Your Choice to their fans.

Freedom VYC wraps at the finale at FAME, Penang on July 30, make sure you don’t miss out as we’ve got turntablist champion Kid Fresh all the way from Germany set to unleash the most explosive and eclectic night you could ever imagine. Spinning alongside the champ we have DJ Def, our local homeboy who will showcase his signature style of mix and scratch, blending indie rock with hip hop and dance so make sure to put on something Blue and be part of this phenomenal night!
