Yuna Ito

Facebook was abuzz this morning with multiple posts from my friends (who have no connection with each other) on a new music video by Yuna Ito. Ok ok I admit – I think she looks hot so I decided to investigate further and here’s what I found.

Yuna Ito was born in Los Angeles on 20 September 1983 to a Japanese father and Korean-American mother. Her family then moved to Hawaii before relocating to Japan when her singing career took off.

This singer-songwriter, composer and actress steadily gained popularity in Japan and even gained the attention of Celine Dion when she performed a live cover of Celine’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ from the Titanic soundtrack. The Canadian songstress then proposed a duet with Yuna which resulted in the song Anata ga Iru Kagiri: A World to Believe In.

Both the above-mentioned music videos are below after Yuna’s cover of Aerosmith’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing’ from the 1998 doomsday movie ‘Armageddon’. Enjoy!
