Andrea Fonseka winner of Miss Malaysia Universe 2004, got hitched with Aussie Paul Dewar at a simple and touching ceremony at the Assumption Church in PJ last Friday. The couple then had a stylish wedding dinner at the JW Marriot in KL the following night.

Andrea – international cover girl, model, actress, and Marie France Bodyline ambassador was in the spotlight recently as she played the role of mentor to the 2010 batch of Miss Universe Malaysia finalists. A very fitting choice indeed as Andrea has accumulated a wealth of experience since winning the title herself back in 2004. Anyway the lovely Andrea invited me to share her joyous occasion and I was seated at a table a mere 10 feet away from the VIP table together with FHM Singapore editor David Furhmann Lim and Chivas Singapore brand manager Alfred Goh among other distinguished guests. That meant of course that Chivas (and later Moet & Chandon) was flowing non-stop at the table which resulted in some very happy guests.
