The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a beloved expression that embodies the spirit of the distillery. For their 200th anniversary, the brand’s team of experts crafted a special edition that honours tradition while offering a new flavour experience. Matured entirely in first-fill American oak casks and bottled at 43% ABV, this commemorative expression delivers a perfect balance of sweet and fruity notes, accented by honeycomb and zesty orange. The finish is a delightful and lingering vanilla.

The commemorative bottle’s design reflects The Glenlivet’s commitment to innovation. Studio Berdi of Bogota, Colombia, won a crowdsourcing competition launched by the brand. The competition invited artists worldwide to create a limited-edition design that broke with tradition. Over 400 submissions came in from artists across 42 countries during the three-week campaign.

The winning design, inspired by The Glenlivet’s “forever moving forwards” ethos, features a unique illustrative style. It encapsulates the brand’s 200-year history, from founder George Smith’s bold vision to its current status as a pioneering single malt. The design also hints at the distillery’s commitment to continued innovation and excellence in the years to come.

The Glenlivet 12 Year Old 200 Year Anniversary Edition is more than just a tribute to founder George Smith’s vision and ingenuity. The special edition is available for purchase starting from RM423 (RSP) at The Chamber outlets (Starhill, Sunway Pyramid and Pavilion Bukit Jalil) as well as selected retailers in Malaysia.
