JETOUR Malaysia has officially launched the JETOUR T2 in Malaysia on 13 March 2026. The JETOUR T2 is a body-on-frame-styled SUV positioned at the adventure-oriented end of the brand’s local lineup. Priced at RM 156,800 on the road without insurance for Peninsular Malaysia, the T2 arrives as the latest addition to a segment that has seen growing appetite for rugged-looking, well-equipped SUVs at accessible price points. The first 3,000 registered customers are entitled to a RM 2,000 cash rebate, subject to terms and conditions.
The launch also included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between JETOUR Malaysia and the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia — a gesture toward environmental responsibility that aligns, at least symbolically, with the brand’s Travel+ positioning around mindful exploration.
“The launch of the JETOUR T2 represents a significant milestone for JETOUR in MalaysiaGuided by our Travel+ philosophy, we create vehicles that seamlessly integrate mobility, lifestyle and exploration to support both everyday mobility and meaningful journeys. Malaysia is a strategic market for us and we are confident that the JETOUR T2 will resonate strongly with drivers who seek both adventure and refinement in a single SUV. As we expand our footprint in Malaysia, we remain committed to building long-term trust through product excellence and meaningful local partnerships.”
Ke Chuandeng, President of JETOUR International

The T2 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged direct-injection (TGDi) petrol engine producing 180 kW and 375 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Drive goes to all four wheels through JETOUR’s Intelligent XWD all-wheel-drive system, which incorporates 7+X drive modes — a terrain-adaptive torque distribution system that adjusts continuously to road and off-road conditions. The 7+X designation refers to seven preset modes supplemented by an adaptive logic layer that reads inputs from steering, throttle, and wheel slip sensors to fine-tune torque split in real time.
The T2 rides on 255/60 R19 tyres, a specification that provides meaningful sidewall height for uneven surfaces while maintaining a planted stance on tarmac. The combination of turbocharged output, dual-clutch transmission, and intelligent AWD gives the T2 a powertrain that should acquit itself reasonably well beyond sealed roads, though the depth of its off-road capability will ultimately depend on ground clearance and approach angles that were not specified in the launch materials.
The T2’s design language leans deliberately into the upright, boxy aesthetic that has found favour in the adventure SUV segment — a silhouette that reads as purposeful rather than sporty. The front end features auto LED headlamps flanking an illuminated JETOUR wordlight signature, a feature that gives the vehicle a distinctive night-time presence. At the rear, light ray LED taillamps and a mounted spare tyre reinforce the utilitarian brief. An electric suction rear door — a powered mechanism that pulls the tailgate flush and sealed without requiring a manual push — adds a premium touch to daily loading. Three exterior colours are offered: Khaki White, Aviation Silver, and Carbon Black.
The cabin is organised around a 15.6-inch central multimedia display running wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A “Hello Jetour” voice assistant handles navigation, climate, and media commands, reducing the need for touchscreen interaction while moving. A 50W fast wireless charger is fitted to the centre console, and audio is handled by a Sony 12-speaker system — a brand partnership that carries some weight in the in-car audio segment and should deliver a credible result at this price point.
Comfort provisions are well matched to the Malaysian market: front ventilated seats address the tropical climate, front memory seats with a welcome function simplify multi-driver households, and a panoramic sunroof extends the sense of cabin volume. Multicolour ambient lighting rounds out the interior specification. Leatherette upholstery is fitted throughout.
The T2 carries a 5-Star ASEAN NCAP rating, which provides independent validation of occupant protection. The standard safety package includes six SRS airbags, Level 2 ADAS — covering functions such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic emergency braking — a 360-degree panoramic view monitoring system with transparent chassis function, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The transparent chassis feature uses camera feeds and processing to render a virtual see-through view of the ground directly beneath the vehicle, which is a useful aid when navigating obstacles at slow speeds.
The T2 is backed by a 7-year / 150,000 km vehicle warranty and a 10-year / 1,000,000 km powertrain warranty. The powertrain figure is notably ambitious and positions the T2 competitively on paper against established players in the segment. Whether such terms come with meaningful practical support will depend on the depth of JETOUR Malaysia’s service network — the brand entered the Malaysian market in April 2024 and is still building its aftersales infrastructure.
