SAIC Motor Malaysia has officially announced the pricing for the highly anticipated MG HS SUV, available in both Standard and Lux variants. The new models are priced at RM129,900 and RM145,900, respectively, with an introductory offer of RM5,000.

The MG HS boasts a sharper, more aggressive look with Bi-Functional LED headlights, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), a bold grille, and a redesigned bumper at the front. The rear features a redefined bumper with dual exhaust outlets, LED taillights, and a sporty spoiler, complemented by 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Enhancing its sporty appeal, the MG HS comes with exclusive features such as red brake callipers and a “Super Sport” button. Inside, it offers 64 ambient lighting options, a panoramic sunroof, and sport seats, creating a spacious and performance-oriented interior.

For connectivity, the MG HS includes a 12.3-inch virtual cluster display with four themes, a 10.1-inch high-resolution infotainment display, a 360˚ camera, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MG iSMART phone connectivity. The vehicle also provides 463 litres of cargo space, expandable to 1,287 litres, and includes a power tailgate and 60/40 split-folding and reclining rear seats.

Under the hood, the MG HS is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 7-speed twin-clutch transmission, delivering up to 162 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The vehicle is designed for a lifespan of up to 320,000 kilometres.

Safety features include 6 SRS airbags and the MG PILOT advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), which offer Front Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assistance, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Door Opening Warning.

Customers can choose from four exterior colours: Black Pearl, Arctic White, Camden Grey, and Dynamic Red. All options come with black upholstery featuring premium soft-touch leather and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The MG HS comes with a comprehensive warranty package, offering 5 years of unlimited mileage vehicle warranty and 7 years of unlimited mileage powertrain warranty.

In celebration of MG’s 100th anniversary, SAIC Motor Malaysia is offering an exclusive RM5,000 introductory offer for both the Standard and Lux variants.

Interested buyers are invited to test drive the MG HS on 23 and 24 November 2024 at MG Motor authorised dealer showrooms.
