This promotion includes a shared appetizer and two (2) entrees. MHB’s Nicole Foo and I headed over to the Bangsar Shopping Centre outlet last week to try some of the dishes.
Appetizers
Garlic Fries – this is crazily addictive and would go great with beer! Come with a dip but really – the fries with the awesome smell and taste of garlic were good enough on its own.A crispy flour tortilla filled with smoked chicken, black beans, corn, Jalapeños Jack cheese, green peppers and spinach, and served with creamy dip. One of the favourite appetizers at Chili’s.Warm and crispy tostada chips with house-made salsa. Another fav appetizer that goes well with beer.
Mains
Santa Fe Chicken Quesadillas (from the RM75.00 menu) – tender grilled chicken, shredded Jack cheese and fresh corn salsa, drizzled with zesty citrus Santa Fe sauce and layered between two (2) flour tortillas. Served with fresh pico de galo and sour cream.Simply bursting with fillings and CHEESE! Believe me, you will be very full after finishing all 8 pieces!Chicken & Spinach Pasta (from the RM75.00 menu) – Penne pasta in creamy Alfredo sauce tossed with sautéed onions and bell peppers, fresh spinach, melted Jack cheese and strips of chicken drizzled with chipotle pesto sauceI actually enjoyed this paste a lot! The balance of flavours was good, creamy, some acid from the peppers, and spice from the chipotle pesto sauce!Queso Pepper Steak (from the RM100.00 menu) – 8 oz strip steak topped with cheddar cheese sauce and sautéed mushrooms, served with seasonal vegetables and loaded mash potatoes. Wow! First time I’ve seen a steak with so much on top. I ordered this one medium rare and it came nice and pink in the middle – just how I like it. This is one heck of a filling dish so only order if you’re a big eater.Chicken Aioli (from the RM100.00 menu) – Grilled chicken topped with fresh corn and black bean salsa, with a side of chipotle aioli sauce, and served with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes with black pepper gravy.
