Attended the media preview of Circus Bar and Lounge at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on 13 September 2012 together with the girls from Malaysia’s Hottest Bloggers.
Circus is a modern bistro and cocktail lounge serving up mouth-watering favourites from around the world and sexy cocktails. Situated in Pavilion’s newest lifestyle precinct, Fashion Avenue (which was previously occupied by the anchor tenant Tangs which has since vacated the space), Circus is strategically at the forefront of Pavilion KL’s Jalan Raja Chulan entrance and nearby the KLCC link bridge.
We got to try lots of canapes prepared by Spanish Executive Chef David Caral who is in charge of the kitchen which cooks up international cuisine at its finest such as Ahi tuna tartare, grilled calamari salad, crispy wild mushroom risotto, black cod, a variety of tasty sliders, and mouth-watering desserts. Sunday brunches at Circus will be paired with Moët & Chandon and Dom Pérignon champagnes with an irresistible selection of dishes that will satisfy discerning diners.
At the bar, there is an extensive wine list to complement your meal or try some of over 60 cocktails, ranging from staple classics to the avant garde, to be paired with a cigar of your choice from the divan. Further into the night, the music goes up and the bar comes alive; and Circus transforms into a lounge where you can chill (or dance) to the sounds of our DJs and live performers.
